Dr. Akeza Teame
Dr. Akeza Teame was born in Ethiopia and is now a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. Dr. Teame earned Associate degree of Arts from Hesston College, BS in genetics from the University
of Kansas and Doctor of Medicine from the University
of Kansas
School Of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City and is board certified in internal medicine. He is now completing his fellowship (subspecialty training) in Infectious Diseases at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Teame is licensed to practice medicine in the States of New York, Washington DC, South Carolina as well as in Ethiopia. His plan is to return to Ethiopia permanently and develop mechanisms that would improve the delivery of quality health care services to the Ethiopian people.
Mr. Sisay Shimelis
Mr. Shimelis was born in Ethiopia and is now a naturalized citizen of the United States of America. Mr. Shimelis earned MS in Civil Engineering from the St. Petersburg Engineering Academy, Russia. He also earned BA in Accounting & International Finance from Park University, U.S. He is the principal of PTE International, a company specializing in international business development and global human resources. He orchestrated and managed the automization of the Ethiopian Immigration System, as a result of which, the Ethiopian government is now issuing new passports with superior quality and security features. Mr. Shimelis is also working on the first biodiesel project in Ethiopia- source of renewable energy from plants. This initiative is projected to supply enough diesels to substitute imported gasoline costs for the next 10 years. |
